Frequently Asked Questions
Who is it for?
Any child or young person that is suffering from a loss, be that a family member, friend or pet. We can help support your child through the journey of grief and offer a remote interactive service to support them.
Is this service confidential?
All information provided will be kept confidential. The only time we might break confidentiality is if there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others.
How much does this service cost?
The fee is £150, for the whole process including the bespoke book. This may take several months depending on your requirements. Payment plans can be set up where necessary. We are committed to ensuring this service is affordable. Please contact us to discuss options available.
What happens in the first session?
The first pack will explore how best we can help you and your child. It is a chance for you to ask any questions about how the process will work. It is also an opportunity to discuss what your expectations might be and any anxieties you might have.
How long does this service last?
If after the first session you feel that you would like to continue, then we develop a package tailored to your child's age and ability and begin the service. These packs can continue until we feel your child has gained maximum benefit. Typically it takes around 5 - 6 packs to produce the book. Additional support can also be taken; this may incur additional fees that will be discussed in advance.
Will you stop my child from grieving?
No, unfortunately, grief is a natural response to the loss of a loved one. Emotions can feel overwhelming, what we do is explore these feelings and reassure them that life can feel ok again.
